Cira now sounds more human, reads calls in any language, and lets you take it for a test drive before a single customer ever picks up the phone.

More natural-sounding voices

Cira got a new voice engine, and the difference is easy to hear. The voices sound warmer and more lifelike, with less of that flat, robotic tone that makes callers hang up.

You can pick from a fresh set of voices in your receptionist settings and choose the one that fits your business. Try a few and hear them for yourself.

Why it matters: when Cira sounds like a real person, callers stay on the line. They ask their questions, share their details, and book the job. Every caller who sticks around is a lead you would have lost to voicemail.

Automatic transcript translation

Not every caller speaks English. Now, when someone calls in another language, Cira writes down what they said and translates it to English for you automatically.

Open the call in your inbox and you will see a simple toggle. Read the English version to know exactly what the caller needed, or flip to the original words if you want to see them too.

Why it matters: a lead is a lead, no matter the language. You no longer have to guess what a caller wanted or ask someone to translate for you. You can read every message and follow up on every job.

Test your receptionist and rate your calls

You can now try Cira live before your customers do. The new Test Receptionist page lets you place a practice call and talk to your receptionist just like a real caller would. The conversation shows up on your screen in real time, so you can see exactly how Cira answers.

We also added call ratings. On any real call, give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. A thumbs down opens a chat with Cira and brings the call along, so you can say what went wrong and get help fixing it.
