I'm Bryan Smith, CEO of Crafted Labs the company behind Cira.
I spent over a decade as a cybersecurity CTO, building software for large enterprises and government agencies, high-stakes systems where one missed detail can mean a serious breach. That work taught me how to build software that has to be secure, reliable, and genuinely trusted.
What struck me was how little of that engineering rigor ever reaches small businesses. A plumber or a cleaner gets stuck with clunky tools and calls that slip to voicemail, while big companies run on software built to a completely different standard. I'd spent years building for the enterprise, I wanted to close that gap.
So I founded Crafted Labs with my co-founder to bring enterprise-grade engineering to small businesses. Cira is the first result, an AI receptionist that answers every call and books jobs while owners do the work they love. The same standard the big companies get, built for the truck-and-tools crew.
