Release Notes

What's new in Cira. Here you can see what we changed in the app and when, with the newest update first.

Latest

A fresh new look, a better Ask Cira, and cleaner customer records

The Cira app has a cleaner, simpler design. Ask Cira has a new chat panel, and Cira saves more accurate customer details from calls.

A fresh new look

  • Redesigned app. Navigation, the Dashboard and the Inbox have a cleaner, simpler design. The app now opens in a light theme. You can still pick dark mode in Settings → Profile → Appearance, and that choice is saved per device.
  • Follow-ups. Your team's to-do list has new tabs for Mine, All open, Overdue and Done. There's a summary at the top and a Mark done button on every row. "New Task" is now called "New follow-up". See Follow-ups →
  • Accounts. The list is easier to scan, and each status shows as a colored dot with a word. On an account page, calls, bookings and follow-ups are in tidy lists.
  • Settings. Every page has the same layout, with one Save changes button per form. Profile, Organization, Team, Billing, CRM and all receptionist settings were refreshed.
  • Getting started. The Dashboard setup cards for accounts that aren't live yet are redesigned, and phone setup options are now cards you can select. Booking, login, onboarding and mobile also have the new look.

Ask Cira

Ask Cira is the AI assistant built into the Cira app.

  • New chat panel. Your messages appear in bubbles, and Cira's replies use the full width so result cards fit. Rename and delete are easy to reach on touch screens.
  • Result cards are back. Account searches, account details, bookings, business hours and FAQ changes show as cards in the chat again.
  • Cleaner FAQ edits. When you add or update an FAQ, Cira shows only the result instead of your whole FAQ list.
  • No surprise page changes. Cira opens a page only when you ask, and it no longer says it opened a page when it didn't. Pages also no longer switch partway through a reply.
  • Better call feedback. When you give a call a thumbs-down, Cira explains what likely went wrong and offers to open the right settings page. You stay on the call while you read.
  • Small fixes. The typing indicator stays on screen until the reply appears, and the button name Cira tells you to click matches the button on the card.

More accurate customer records from calls

  • Details from the end of long calls are now saved. That's usually when callers confirm their email or address.
  • Repeat callers no longer get a duplicate Service Address after every call.
  • Apartment and unit numbers are kept.
  • Addresses written with a comma after the house number, like "412, Elm St", are saved correctly.

Polish

  • Errors and confirmations now appear as in-app messages and dialogs instead of browser pop-ups.
  • Three actions that used to fail without any message now show an error: going live from the Dashboard, saving your phone number there, and loading more calls on an account.
  • Call forwarding settings no longer get squeezed when the Ask Cira panel is open.
  • The API help page now links to the interactive API reference. Open the API reference →

Security

  • We strengthened protections for accounts, data and billing across the platform.
